People on the internet found the speaker's monotonous, yet creepy tone and cadence as well as the channel's spooky background music out-of-place and awkward, prompting many to make remixes using the video and the transcript of the segment: On November 11, 2017, a video titled “Top 15 Mysteries Solved by 4Chan” was uploaded to YouTube by Top15s, a channel dedicated to posting countdown lists of various topics. Local news outlets began visiting the franchise after being alerted by 4chan users, and the employee in question was fired after they were identified by the franchise's manager. ![]() The location of the Burger King franchise where the photo was taken was quickly identified as being located in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, via the use of EXIF geoloaction information embedded in the image. On July 16, 2012, an image was uploaded to 4chan by an anonymous user claiming to be a Burger King employee standing in a bin of lettuce with his shoes on, alongside the caption: "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King." ![]()
